Speaking at a meeting of ministers from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum in Lima, Peru on 14 November, Deputy Director-General Angela Ellard briefed ministers regarding the progress made on negotiating and reform priorities at the WTO. She addressed the ongoing discussions on fisheries subsidies, dispute settlement reform, investment facilitation for development, and electronic commerce, as well as noting initiatives related to trade, environment and climate change.
