Former Pakistan cricket team skipper Shoaib Malik's wife Sana Javed was in attendance during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2024 match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans on Monday. Malik is currently playing for the Kings and Javed cheered on as the all-rounder scored a half-century for his franchise. However, the actress was taunted by a section of the crowd at the stadium as they chanted the name of Indian tennis icon and Malik's ex-wife Sania Mirza. The couple announced the news of their divorce days after he made his marriage to Javed public through a post on social media.

In videos posted by fans on social media, Javed could be seen glaring at the spectators but on one instance, she even turned towards the crowd and waved as the chants continued.
Malik's half-century was not enough to clinch the game for his side as Multan Sultans won the game by 55 runs thanks to a good knock by Reeza Hendricks and a three-wicket haul by Mohammad Ali.
Sania Mirza's family confirmed that the Indian tennis icon and Shoaib Malik have separated, a day after Pakistani cricketer announced his third marriage with actor Sana Javed.
Their split marks the end of a high-profile union that had generated huge interest among sports lovers from the two countries.
"Sania has always kept her personal life away from the public eye. However, today the need has arisen for her to share that Shoaib and she have been divorced for a few months now. She wishes Shoaib well for his new journey ahead!," read the statement issued by Mirza's family.
"At this sensitive period of her life, we would like to request all fans and well-wishers to refrain from indulging in any speculation and to respect her need for privacy," the statement added.
