Students explore the WTO’s role in shaping global trade
Over 90 students gathered at the WTO on 14 November for an event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Marrakesh Agreement. Entitled “WTO 101 — Trade-off? More like trade-on!”, the event offered students the opportunity to engage directly with WTO officials, government representatives and trade experts on the intricacies of the global trading system and how to make it fit for the 21st century.
