ideaForge Returns To Profitability In Q2, Reports Net Profit Of ₹6.5 Cr

Dronetech major ideaForge posted a net profit of ₹6.5 Cr in the September quarter (Q2) of FY27. The company reported a profit in the fiscal year FY26 before dipping back into the red in Q1, reporting a loss of ₹2.6 Cr. It had reported a loss of ₹19.6 Cr in the year-ago quarter.

ideaForge’s operating revenue grew 124% YoY to ₹91.3 Cr in Q2 FY27 from ₹40.8 Cr in the year-ago period. Sequentially, it rose by about 33% from ₹68.6 Cr in the preceding quarter.

Including other income of ₹6.3 Cr, the company’s total income for the period stood at ₹97.6 Cr. 

Meanwhile, total expenses surged 41.9% YoY to ₹90.1 Cr. Cost of materials consumed constituted more than half of the total spending, which stood at ₹48.1 Cr in the reported quarter.
