ESDS Q2 Profit Zooms 41% YoY To ₹31.1 Cr, Revenue Up 48%

Enterprise cloud and AI company ESDS Software Solution reported a 40.7% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated net profit to ₹31.1 Cr in the September quarter of FY27 (Q2 FY27), compared with ₹22.1 Cr in the year-ago period.

Operating revenue rose 48% YoY to ₹138.3 Cr. On a sequential basis, the company’s top line  increased 4% from ₹133 Cr in Q1 FY27 while profit increased 6.2% from ₹29.3 Cr.

The company’s EBITDA grew 18.3% YoY to ₹57.8 Cr during the quarter, with an EBITDA margin of 41.8%. Profit after tax (PAT) margin stood at 22.5%.

ESDS said it incurred ₹2.3 Cr in IPO-related marketing and advertising expenses during the quarter review. Excluding this expense, it said that its EBITDA would have stood at ₹60.1 Cr and profit before tax for the quarter would have come in at ₹42.5 Cr.

Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) contributed 50.5% of ESDS’ revenue in Q2 FY27, followed by managed services at 31.2% and software-as-a-service (SaaS) at 18.3%. Existing customers accounted for 86.7% of the company’s revenue during the quarter.
