An arm ball from Mitchell Santner caught him right in front of the stumps but umpire was unconvinced with the appeal. The impact was on the line of the middle stump. New Zealand went up for a review but umpire's call saved Gill as the ball was found to be only clipping the leg stump. Santner was frustrated after the final verdict.
