The hosts need a solid partnership from the opening, in order to get a strong foundation. Rachin Ravindra's powerful knock propelled New Zealand to 402 on Day 3 of the first Test against India in Bengaluru. After bundling out India for just 46, New Zealand had an amazing outing with the bat. Rachin scored 134 while Devon Conway hammered 91 runs. Apart from them, Tim Southee also scored 65 runs. For India, Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja scalped three wickets each. Mohammed Siraj scalped two while Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin took one wicket each.
