Sustainable Kidswear Brand Kidbea Nets ₹30 Cr To Expand Retail Footprint

Omnichannel kidswear brand Kidbea has raised ₹30 Cr (about $3.2 Mn) in its Series A funding round led by Enrission India Capital, with participation from Inflection Point Ventures, LetsVenture, FE Securities, and existing backers Venture Catalysts, Nazara Technologies’ Nitish Mittersain and Innov8 founder Ritesh Malik.
Mamaearth’s Ghazal Alagh, Unacademy cofounder Roman Saini, several family offices, and other angel investors were also part of the round.
The Delhi NCR-based startup intends to use the fresh capital to expand its retail footprint to over 100 flagship stores and enter more than 200 multi-brand outlets across India over the next 12-24 months. A portion of the funding will go toward launching new product categories.
Founded in 2021 by Swapnil Srivastav, Mohammad Hussain, Aman Kumar Mahto, and Ankita Rani, Kidbea offers sustainable clothing made from bamboo for children.
The startup uses a patent-pending textile finish that makes fabrics resistant to liquid and oil-based stains, allowing spills to bead up on the surface and be wiped away without soaking into the fibers.
While the startup commenced operations as a D2C brand, it later shifted to an omnichannel model later. It sells its products through its own website and ecommerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, FirstCry, and AJIO, as well as offline stores. It currently operates flagship stores in Hyderabad, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, among others.
Its portfolio includes rompers, onesies, nightwear, newborn essentials, and accessories for infants and toddlers, catering to the growing demand for safe and sustainable alternatives in the segment. The brand also offers soft toys and kids’ accessories, including feeding bottles and nibblers.
Kidbea also featured in Inc42’s flagship FAST42’s 2026 edition. It reported a 97% YoY rise in revenue to ₹41 Cr in FY25. Its long-term goal includes building a global, multi-billion-dollar business, with a target of ₹500 Cr in revenue and a public listing by 2030.
Kidbea competes with the likes of Ed-a-Mamma, Nino Bambino, Greendigo, INCLUD, Nap Chief, and Moms Home in the organic kidswear D2C segment.
These startups operate in the broader Indian kidswear market, which is expected to reach a size of $27.1 Bn to $29.4 Bn by 2030-2033, clocking a CAGR of around 3%.
