Furniture and appliance rental startup RentoMojo’s IPO closed with an overall subscription of 72.88X on the final day of bidding today. 

The IPO received bids for 158.68 Cr shares against the 2.18 Cr shares on offer.

QIBs led the demand, with their reserved portion subscribed 177.29X. The category received bids for 110.02 Cr shares against the 62.06 Lakh shares earmarked for it.

Foreign institutional investors placed bids for 24.69 Cr shares, while domestic financial institutions bid for 60.42 Cr shares.

The NII portion was subscribed 67.93X, receiving bids for 31.61 Cr shares against the 46.54 Lakh shares reserved for the category. Within the NII segment, the portion for investors bidding for more than ₹10 Lakh was subscribed 73.16X, while the portion for bids between ₹2 Lakh and ₹10 Lakh was subscribed 57.45X.

The retail portion was subscribed 15.59X, receiving bids for 16.93 Cr shares against the 1.09 Cr shares on offer. Meanwhile, the employee portion was subscribed 21.03X, with bids for 10.95 Lakh shares against the 52,083 shares reserved for eligible employees.

Online furniture and appliance rental platform RentoMojo’s IPO was subscribed 17.18X by 13:27 IST on the final day of bidding today.

The IPO received bids for 37.41 Cr shares against 2.18 Cr shares on offer, according to BSE data.

The portion reserved for non-institutional investors (NIIs) saw the strongest demand, receiving bids for 19.80 Cr shares against 46.54 Lakh shares on offer. The category was subscribed 42.54X.

Within the NII category, the portion for bids exceeding ₹10 Lakh was subscribed 45.41X. Meanwhile, the portion for bids of more than ₹2 Lakh and up to ₹10 Lakh was subscribed 36.81X.

Retail investors placed bids for 11.09 Cr shares against the 1.09 Cr shares reserved for them, translating into a subscription of 10.21X.

The portion reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 10.41X, receiving bids for 6.46 Cr shares against 62.06 Lakh shares on offer.

The employee portion was subscribed 11.82X, getting bids for 6.16 Lakh shares against 52,083 shares reserved for the category.

The ₹1,255.57 Cr public issue comprises a fresh issue of shares worth ₹150 Cr and an OFS of up to 2.73 Cr shares worth ₹1,105.57 Cr. The IPO will close today, while the company’s shares are tentatively scheduled to list on the stock exchanges on Thursday (September 17).

RentoMojo earlier raised around ₹376.1 Cr from anchor investors by allotting 93.1 Lakh equity shares to 41 investors at ₹404 apiece.

The company plans to use around ₹70 Cr of the fresh proceeds to repay or prepay certain borrowings, while ₹42.5 Cr will be deployed towards rental or licence payments for its offline stores and warehouses. The remaining capital will be used for general corporate purposes. 

Founded in 2014 by Geetansh Bamania and Ajay Nain, RentoMojo operates a subscription-based platform for renting furniture, appliances, and other home essentials. It claims to operate 20 warehouses and 82 offline stores across 29 cities.

RentoMojo’s operating revenue rose 45.5% to ₹387 Cr in FY26 from ₹266 Cr in the previous fiscal year. Its profit after tax jumped nearly 142% to ₹104.3 Cr from ₹43.1 Cr in FY25, aided by a tax credit of ₹36.6 Cr.
