Dairy startup Sid’s Farm has raised ₹81 Cr ($8.5 Mn) in a pre-Series B funding round from existing backers Omnivore, Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO), alongside new investors like Dodla Dairy, Next Bharat Ventures, and Leaders for India Organisation (LIO), among others.

The D2C startup said it would deploy the fresh capital to strengthen its supply chain, expand its manufacturing and distribution capabilities, invest in product innovation, deepen farmer partnerships and expand into new markets.

Sid’s Farm sells premium milk and dairy products through a subscription-led model focused on food safety and traceability. Founded in 2016 by Dr Kishore Indukuri, the startup claims to have served more than 50,000 families across multiple cities.

The brand operates two processing units in Telangana’s Shabad and Tumkur. Its core products include cow’s milk, buffalo’s milk, curd and ghee. Beyond consumers, it has partnered with about 5,000 dairy farmers and said it had invested in farmer education, fair procurement practices, timely payments and veterinary support.

It also claimed that each batch undergoes testing across more than 45 quality and safety parameters, with over 10,000 tests conducted daily.

The funding comes almost two years after the startup bagged $10 Mn in its Series A round to expand to cities like Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

On the financial front, its operating revenue rose 33.6% to ₹167.58 Cr in FY25 from ₹125.41 Cr a year earlier.

Sid’s Farm operates in the organised dairy market and competes with brands like Country Delight, Akshayakalpa Organic, Heritage Foods and Dodla Dairy.

The broader dairy market, which was valued at about $32 Bn in 2026, is expected to hit $45 Bn by 2031, based on Market Research data.
