Delhi NCR-based NBFC Seeds Fincap raised more than ₹100 Cr ($10.4 Mn) in a Series B funding round led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, with participation from existing backers Z47 and Lok Capital, alongside Norinchukin Capital and Alteria Capital.

The company will use the fresh capital to scale its branch network, enhance risk-management systems, and expand into new markets.

“This capital will enable us to deepen our presence, strengthen our technology and people, and expand our ability to serve more entrepreneurs and underserved communities,” said cofounder Subhash Chandra Acharya, who serves as its MD and CEO.

Founded in 2021 by Acharya, Avishek Sarkar and Sumeet Dhall, Seeds Fincap provides credit products ranging from ₹50,000-1 Lakh to underserved individuals and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

The startup utilises a proprietary, cash-flow-driven assessment approach to underwriting, supported by technology and field operations.

It claims to have been profitable in both FY25 and FY26 with total disbursements of approximately ₹620 Cr in FY26. According to the company, it has ₹722 Cr in assets under management (AUM) and is now targeting ₹1,000 Cr in AUM by March 2027.

Furthermore, the startup claims to have 164 branches with over 70,000 active members, as of August 2026.

Lending tech startups are expected to account for more than half of India’s fintech market, which is projected to grow to generate over $250 Bn in revenue by 2030, driven by rising credit adoption.

Furthermore, some of the more mature players in the space are finally hitting the public markets too.

In recent days, SEBI cleared the proposed IPO of Social Worth Technologies, the parent company of lending tech startup Fibe (formerly EarlySalary), while digital lending unicorn Moneyview completed its stock market debut. Earlier in the year, Kissht and Aye Finance also listed publicly.
