Quick Commerce Supply Chain Startup DocPharma Nets $2 Mn For Expansion

Healthcare supply chain startup DocPharma has raised $2 Mn (₹19 Cr) in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Equentis, with participation from existing backer 100Unicorns, along with angel investment network Vinners and a host of undisclosed angel investors.
The startup plans to use the fresh capital to fuel expansion to 50 cities across India as well as setting up 100 new licensed dark stores.
Founded by Saquib Ali, Shashank Rai and Sagar Chauhan in 2024, DocPharma operates a quick commerce supply chain network catering to healthcare businesses, acting as a backend infrastructure for healthcare platforms.
At its core is its proprietary platform, DocPharma One, which combines warehouse management, inventory intelligence, order management and fulfillment operations.
Its dark stores carry more than 40,000 SKUs each and are supported by an AI-driven and pharmacist-led compliance infrastructure.
Its network of licensed dark stores and SaaS platform enables pharmacies, health insurers, hospitals, D2C wellness and nutraceutical brands, and pet care businesses to fulfil healthcare orders in under 30 minutes.
The startup claims that its infrastructure enables the delivery of medicines and healthcare products without requiring partner platforms to build and operate their own supply chains.
“We built this supply chain rule by rule, one licensed dark store at a time, and that discipline is what lets it hold up as we scale into 50 cities,” Rai said.
Currently, DocPharma operates across more than 12 cities and claims to have fulfilled over 8 Lakh orders with a fulfilment rate of more than 95%.
The development comes at a time when vertical quick commerce has been seeing a rapid growth, specifically in areas of quick pharma deliveries.
Investors are also bullish in expansion of these businesses. For instance, quick medicine delivery startup Plazza raised $15 Mn in a Series A funding round to strengthen its technology platform and deepen its AI-led inventory and assortment capabilities.
