Nykaa Shares Jump 6% On Strong Q2 FY27 Business Update

Shares of Nykaa surged as much as 6.1% to hit an intraday high of ₹342.95 apiece on the BSE after the beauty and fashion ecommerce major flagged strong business momentum in its Q2 FY27 update.

At 10:40 IST, the stock was trading 4.4% higher at ₹337.55 apiece as investors booked some profits. At the current price, Nykaa’s market capitalisation stood at ₹96,684.2 Cr (about $10 Bn)

The rally came after Nykaa, in an exchange filing, said its consolidated gross merchandise value (GMV) growth is expected to be in the high twenties in Q2 FY27, while net sales value (NSV) growth is expected to be in the early thirties. 

The company expects its consolidated net revenue to grow in the late twenties in Q2 FY27, with both its beauty and fashion businesses contributing to the growth.

The beauty vertical is expected to see NSV and net revenue growth in the late twenties during the quarter. The company said its omnichannel business continued to perform well, helped by new customer additions and repeat purchases.

The BPC major added 14 new stores during the quarter, taking its total store count to 338 as of September 30, 2026. 

Like-for-like store sales are expected to grow in the early twenties in Q2 FY27, marking the highest growth in the past six quarters. 

The company’s House of Nykaa brands also continued to grow faster than the overall beauty business, with both its core and newer brands performing well.

In fashion, NSV is expected to grow in the late forties, while net revenue is expected to rise in the early forties in Q2 FY27.

Nykaa added more than 250 brands across categories during the quarter, expanding the selection available on its platform. New customer additions remained strong, while its Nike partnership also saw early traction through exclusive product launches.

In August, Nykaa announced that it would acquire a 51% stake in D2C skincare brand Aminu Wellness for up to ₹32 Cr. 

The transaction was completed in September, with Aminu’s founders continuing to run the business and Nykaa planning to acquire the remaining 49% stake over the next few years.

In Q1 FY27, Nykaa’s consolidated net profit more than tripled YoY to ₹79.8 Cr from ₹24.8 Cr in the year-ago quarter. Sequentially, profit was almost flat compared with ₹78.8 Cr in the previous quarter.

Operating revenue rose 29% YoY and 5% sequentially to ₹2,782 Cr.
