Meet The 20 Startups Selected For Google Play Accelerator India

Alphabet-owned Google has picked 20 homegrown startups for the 2026 cohort of its “Google Play Accelerator India” programme.

This is the third cohort of the programme, which was introduced in 2024. The startups are picked from sectors like edtech, healthtech, gaming, agritech, fintech, ecommerce, media and entertainment. 

The accelerator will offer a three-month, equity-free programme, and provide the selected startups with hands-on support across AI integration, app quality, security, growth, and monetisation.

“Through Google Play Accelerator India, we want to support founders across the full journey, from product quality and AI integration to growth, security, monetisation, and global scale. The 2026 cohort reflects the ambition of Indian startups to build trusted, useful products for India and the world,” Google Play Partnerships managing director Aditya Swamy said.

Here’s the new set of 20 Indian AI startups picked for the 2026 cohort of Google Play Accelerator India

Chaupal

• Founded In: 2021
• Founders: Balwinder Singh and Sandeep Bansal
• Headquarters: Chandigarh 

The regional OTT streaming platform offers movies, web series, short films, and original content primarily in Punjabi, Bhojpuri, and Haryanvi. The regional OTT streaming service is available as an add-on channel via Amazon Prime Video Channels.

ChennaiGames 

• Founded In: 2018
• Founders: Radhakrishnan Doss Mohan, Radhakrishnan Narendrababu, and Devaraj Revathi
• Headquarters: Chennai

ChennaiGames is a mobile game development studio that builds and publishes casual, multiplayer games for Android and iOS. The studio’s portfolio includes titles such as MR RACER, MR RACER: Stunt Mania, 21 Rush, LudoX, and Banger – Football Free Kicks. 

Dalvoy 

• Founded In: 2025
• Founders: Ritik Agrawal, Akash Sharma
• Headquarters: Delhi NCR

Dalvoy is an AI-powered edtech startup that develops personalised learning tools for competitive exam aspirants. Its platform acts as an AI mentor that creates customised study plans, generates practice questions and mock tests, evaluates mains answers with detailed feedback, identifies knowledge gaps, and provides personalised revision based on each student’s progress. 

Frontier Markets

Frontier Markets is a rural social commerce and last-mile distribution platform that connects FMCG, healthcare, financial services, clean energy, and agriculture brands with rural consumers via a network of digitally-enabled women entrepreneurs in these areas.

GAPE Labs

The AI-first mobile gaming studio combines AI with game development to deliver original, character-driven multiplayer games for global audiences. Arcado Champs, its flagship game, is a real-time multiplayer strategy game.

Grape

Grape fashion app is an AI-native fashion discovery platform that combines Pinterest-style inspiration, personal styling, and ecommerce within one app, rather than functioning as a conventional online fashion marketplace.

HeyDoc AI

HeyDoc AI offers AI-powered solutions for hospitals, healthcare providers, and public health systems that automate patient interactions, clinical workflows, appointment management and care coordination. The startup also offers WellnessGPT, an enterprise AI platform that provides clinically aligned virtual assistants for patients and healthcare professionals.

Kisanwala

The AI-based agritech platform helps farmers improve productivity and income via an integrated suite of digital agriculture solutions. Lingopanda (formerly PingoLearn)

Machaxi is a sports tech platform that enables users to discover, book, and participate in sports activities through a membership-based model. The platform offers access to partner sports centres, coaching programmes, and sports equipment, allowing users to play multiple sports such as badminton, football, cricket, swimming, table tennis, and more through a single app.

MetaShot

MindYourLogic Studios

Regain is an AI-powered digital wellbeing and productivity app that helps users reduce smartphone distractions and improve focus. Zave AI

Zave is an AI-powered shopping assistant that helps consumers make smarter purchase decisions across ecommerce and quick commerce platforms. The platform leverages AI to analyse products in real time and provides personalised recommendations based on price, quality, ratings, and user preferences. 

ZET (formerly OneCode)

• Founded In: 2019
• Founders: Manish Shara, Yash Desai
• Headquarters: Bengaluru

Originally launched as OneCode, the startup started by enabling individuals to sell financial products such as credit cards, loans, and insurance. In 2023, it rebranded to ZET and expanded into consumer financial products, offering secured credit cards backed by fixed deposits (FDs), UPI payments linked to credit cards, among others.
