IPO-Bound Moneyview Nets ₹327.5 Cr From Anchor Investors
Seven domestic mutual funds, including SBI Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Funds, accounted for 72% of the anchor allocation

Ahead of opening its initial public offering (IPO) for bidding, fintech unicorn Moneyview has raised ₹327.5 Cr from anchor investors by allocating 9.63 Cr shares at an issue price of ₹34 per equity share, the upper end of the IPO’s price band.

Seven domestic mutual funds via fourteen schemes netted 6.96 Cr or 72% of the anchor round. SBI Mutual Fund’s SBI Banking and Financial Services Fund lapped up the highest 1.47 Cr shares or 15.27% of the anchor round, investing over ₹50 Cr.

Via three of its holding entities, HDFC Mutual Fund also bagged 1.47 Cr shares of the company. Motilal Oswal, 360 One, Goldman Sachs, ICICI Prudential’s iSIF Ex Top 100 Long- Short Fund were some of the other investors that picked up a stake in the IPO-bound digital lending company.

Moneyview’s ₹1,092 Cr IPO is set to open for public subscription tomorrow (September 24). At the upper end of the price band of ₹32-34, the company is seeking a valuation of around ₹5,985 Cr ($624 Mn). This is about half of the $1.2 Bn valuation the company commanded post its last equity funding round of $4.6 Mn in September 2024.

The IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares worth up to ₹750 Cr and an OFS of up to 10.05 Cr equity shares. The fresh issue portion was halved from the ₹1,500 Cr proposed in Moneyview’s draft IPO papers, while the OFS was reduced from 13.6 Cr shares. The company had filed its DRHP with the SEBI in March 2026 and received SEBI’s nod for the public issue in July.

The lending tech company, which offers users personal loans, payments, investments and insurance via its digital platform, intends to utilise ₹325 Cr of the fresh issue proceeds to support loan disbursals under default loss guarantee arrangements.

Besides, ₹250 Cr will be infused into its NBFC subsidiary Whizdm Finance to augment its capital base, while the remainder will be used for general corporate purposes.

The platform had 140.28 Mn registered users and 48 financial partners as of June 30, 2026. Its managed AUM stood at ₹22,520 Cr.

Meanwhile, the OFS component of the IPO will see cofounders Puneet Agarwal and Sanjay Aggarwal plan offload up to 1.35 Cr shares each. Other investors like Tiger Global, Accel India, Crimson Winter, Ribbit Capital, among others, will also offload shares via the IPO.

On the financial front, Moneyview Q1 FY27 net profit more than doubled year-on-year to ₹173.8 Cr in Q1 FY27 while its operating revenue rose 50.2% to ₹1,041.1 Cr from ₹693 Cr during the quarter as per its RHP.

For FY26, Moneyview’s operating revenue grew 43.3% to ₹3,351.2 Cr from ₹2,339.1 Cr in FY25. However, its consolidated profit remained largely flat YoY at ₹242.7 Cr due to an exceptional loss of ₹206.7 Cr.
