Ahead of the commencement of the bidding for its public issue on August 7, logistics tech platform LEAP India has raised ₹743.6 Cr from anchor investors.

The startup allotted 4.67 Cr equity shares to anchor investors at a price of ₹159 per share, the upper band of its price spectrum. 

Of the total, 1.9 Cr shares, or 40.1% of the total anchor round, were picked up by one life insurance company and six domestic mutual funds via a total of 15 schemes. The domestic mutual funds that anchored the round included Axis Mutual Fund, Motilal Oswal, Bank Of India, Groww, ITI, among others.

Other investors who participated in the round included Morgan Stanley, JM Financial, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, BNP Paribas, Societe Generale, among others.

With this, LEAP India’s IPO will now go live on August 7 and close on August 11. 

The logistics tech startup’s public issue comprises a fresh issue of shares worth up to ₹480 Cr and an offer for sale (OFS) component worth up to ₹2,000 Cr. At the upper end of its ₹151 to ₹159 price band, the IPO will value the company at about ₹7,004.5 Cr (about $735 Mn).

Founded in 2013 by Sunu Mathew, LEAP India offers supply chain solutions for equipment pooling, returnable packaging, inventory management and movement, transportation and maintenance. 

It claims to have so far served more than 1,000 customers at the end of March 2026, including the likes of Coca-Cola, Marico, Panasonic, Haier and Daikin. During the fiscal, the food and beverages segment accounted for more than a quarter of its business, followed by automotive and ecommerce.  

On the financial front, LEAP India’s net profit zoomed 66% to ₹62.3 Cr in FY26 from ₹37.5 Cr in the previous fiscal year. Meanwhile, operating revenue zoomed 56.4% to ₹729.5 Cr from ₹466.5 Cr in FY25. 

At the end of March 2026, the company had 14.7 Mn assets, comprising 8.98 Mn pallets and 5.71 Mn containers. LEAP India supports its operations through a network of more than 29 warehouses and service centres, along with over 10,100 customer touchpoints.
