Fisdom Cofounders Set To Exit Groww A Year After $150 Mn Acquisition
Groww recorded a spike in income, its revenue mix also shifted. Its core offerings like mutual funds, equity derivatives, and stocks zoomed on a yearly basis

Wealth management startup Fisdom’s cofounders Subramanya SV and Anand Dalmia are set to exit Groww upon completing a one-year planned transition, following the listed fintech major’s acquisition of Fisdom last year.

The company doesn’t plan on appointing external replacements for the cofounders. The listed company’s founders will work more closely with the wealth management business, while several senior executives from Fisdom will take on expanded responsibilities.

Besides, the company also intends to elevate some of the senior leaders from  Fisdom’s team moving forth.

“The transition enables clearer ownership and tighter integration across the Groww ecosystem… The wealth business is now closely integrated with Groww’s core platform and ready for its next phase of growth,” Groww said.

Groww acquired Fisdom in May 2025 in an all-cash deal at a valuation of about $150 Mn to scale its wealth management business, ‘W’.

The acquisition brought over 150 wealth advisers, more than ₹10,000 Cr in assets under management (AUM), bank partnerships, and specialised licenses for portfolio management services and alternative investment funds into the Groww ecosystem.

Additionally, Fisdom’s research and advisory teams now support Groww’s AI-powered mutual fund recommendation tool MF Prime.

Following the amalgamation, it had also invested ₹104.5 Cr into Fisdom via a rights issue.

In terms of other acquisitions, Groww had earlier acquired the mutual fund business of Indiabulls Housing Finance for ₹175.6 Cr back in 2023, entering the asset management space.

It had also sought to strengthen this vertical by bidding for PGIM India Asset Management (owned by US-based Prudential Financial), though the company was eventually acquired by TVS Venu Group.

On the financial front, investment tech platform Groww’s consolidated net profit zoomed 94.3% YoY and 7% QoQ to ₹735 Cr. Meanwhile, operating revenue jumped 66% YoY to ₹1,501.4 Cr during the quarter under review.

The company claims to have added 1.15 Lakh net clients during the quarter under review despite industry-wide slowdown. It further disclosed that mutual fund assets under management (AUM) of ₹1.9 Lakh Cr.

Shares of Groww ended today’s trading session 1.41% lower at ₹189.15 on the BSE.
