Exclusive: Vibe Coding Startup Rocket Eyes Fresh Funding In SIG-Led Round

Vibe coding startup Rocket is in talks with US-based Susquehanna International Group (SIG) to raise a fresh round of funding, sources told Inc42.
“The startup has held multiple rounds of discussions with SIG for its Series A round. The talks are progressing well,” one of the sources said.
The funding round will also see participation from Rocket’s existing investors, including Salesforce Ventures and Accel, the sources added.
Inc42 could not independently ascertain the size of the funding round. Queries sent to Rocket did not elicit a response till the time of publication.
The discussions come less than a year after Rocket raised $15 Mn in its seed funding round led by Salesforce Ventures and Accel, with participation from Together Fund.
Founded in 2021 by Vishal Virani, Rahul Shingala, and Deepak Dhanak, Rocket provides an AI-powered platform for building apps, websites, dashboards, and internal tools in minutes by giving instructions in natural language.
The Surat-based startup offers a free starter plan with 1 Mn tokens and paid subscription tiers priced at $25, $50 and $100 per month. Higher-priced plans offer increased token limits, private projects, code downloads and the option to opt out of data training.
In April this year, the startup also forayed into the enterprise solutions segment. Its Rocket 1.0 helps businesses build apps and analyse competition post-launch. It claims to generate detailed documentation, including strategy, market dynamics, and competition analysis.
Rocket claims to see the most traction in the US market, which accounts for 26% of its overall revenue. The European market contributes 15-20% and India accounts for 10% of the top line.
The fundraising efforts come amid growing investor interest in AI-powered coding platforms, driven by their rapid adoption.
Earlier this year, former Dunzo cofounder Mukund Jha’s vibe coding startup Emergent raised $70 Mn. The startup is now reportedly in talks to raise another funding round at a unicorn valuation. Globally, investor interest in the AI coding space has also intensified, underscored by Elon Musk-led xAI’s $15 Bn acquisition of Cursor.
Beyond vibe coding, investors remain bullish on Indian AI startups overall. According to Inc42’s ‘Annual Indian Startup Trends Report 2025’, Indian AI startups raised nearly $500 Mn across 63 deals in 2025.
