DroneAcharya H2: Net Loss Narrows 89% YoY To ₹1.6 Cr, Revenue Down By 33%

BSE SME listed dronetech company DroneAcharya managed to trim its H2 FY26 net loss by 89% to ₹1.6 Cr from ₹15 Cr in the year-ago period. On a sequential basis, the company swung back into the red after reporting a net profit of ₹1.9 Cr in the first half of the fiscal.
However, operating revenue for the period under review crashed 32% YoY and 47% QoQ to ₹5.1 Cr. Including other income of ₹2.4 Cr, DroneAcharya’s total income for H2 FY26 stood at ₹7.5 Cr.
Meanwhile, total expenses slid 67% YoY to ₹9.6 Cr. The company registered a tax credit of about ₹51 Lakh during the six months ended March 31, 2026.
For the full fiscal year FY26, DroneAcharya reported a profit of ₹37.2 Lakh against a net loss of ₹13.5 Cr in the previous fiscal. The company’s operating revenue for the fiscal halved to ₹18.3 Cr from ₹36.7 Cr in FY25.
DroneAcharya registered an EBITDA of ₹7.1 Cr during the fiscal year while its EBITDA margin stood at 48.4%.
During the fiscal year, the dronetech company claimed that it secured and executed multiple defence-related drone deployment and demonstration projects. Besides, it also expanded collaborations with Indian defence establishments and global OEM partners.
The company also conducted multiple drone pilot and instructor training programs as well as expanded its DGCA-approved remote pilot training organisation (RPTO) network.
“FY26 has been a significant year for DroneAcharya as we continued to strengthen our operational capabilities, expand our defense solutions portfolio, and accelerate indigenous drone innovation…With an improving order pipeline, increasing opportunities in surveillance and tactical drone systems, and our continued focus on research & development, we remain confident about delivering sustainable long-term growth while contributing towards India’s vision of becoming self-reliant in drone technology,” DroneAcharya’s chairman and managing director Prateek Srivastava said.
The company claims to have a robust order pipeline from defense and enterprise customers to be served in the ongoing fiscal year. It is working on expanding opportunities in drone manufacturing and exports as well as growing its domestic drone pilot training ecosystem.
Shares of DroneAcharya ended today’s trading session 3.24% higher at ₹40.79.
