Voice AI startup Desible.ai has raised ₹32 Cr (around $3.7 Mn) in a seed funding round led by Prime Venture Partners, with participation from existing backer Invention Engine.

The Bengaluru-based startup, which offers agentic AI workflows for companies in the BFSI sector, plans to use the fresh capital to deepen its agentic AI capabilities, strengthen compliance infrastructure, expand its go-to-market efforts and accelerate product development.

Founded in 2025 by Uttam Tiwari and Omkar Raikar, Desible.ai currently orchestrates over 25 agentic AI workflows spanning revenue, risk and compliance, collections, underwriting, service and claims.

The startup initially uses voice AI as an entry point into the BFSI ecosystem but is expanding its platform across WhatsApp, SMS and email. Beyond voice AI, the startup’s platform is designed to automate customer engagement, servicing, operations and compliance workflows for banks, NBFCs and insurance companies.

Its use cases include persistence and renewal management, collections, lead qualification, welcome calling, TeleMER, claims intimation and cross-selling, among others.

Desible.ai claimed that its platform currently handles more than 10 Mn customer engagements every month and is being used or evaluated by 40+ BFSI institutions.

“Voice AI is our entry point, not our destination. We are building an outcome-driven agentic workflow orchestration platform for BFSI enterprises,” Tiwari said.

The funding comes at a time when the rise of generative and agentic AI is pushing financial services companies to automate increasingly complex workflows. However, deploying AI in a regulated environment comes with additional challenges around compliance, auditability, customer consent and data security.

This creates an opening for vertical AI platforms that can combine automation with industry-specific controls. The opportunity for AI in BFSI is also shifting from conversational applications towards agentic systems capable of executing multi-step workflows.

Betting on this growing opportunity, voice AI startups like Navana.ai recently raised ₹40 Cr ($4.2 Mn) in a Series A funding round to scale its voice AI platform’s deployment across the BFSI sector, earlier in September. Additionally, voice AI startup Arrowhead raised $3 Mn (₹27 Cr) funding in its seed round earlier in January, for hiring and technology development.
