AI infrastructure startup Deccan AI has raised $25 Mn (around ₹235 Cr) in a funding round led by A91 Partners, with participation from Susquehanna and existing investor Prosus Ventures.

The startup plans to deploy the capital to scale post‑training data, invest in R&D, and build enterprise-grade infra. It will also double down on data relevant for enterprises and robotics.

Founded in 2023 by Rukesh Reddy, Deccan AI offers post‑training and production layers for AI models. It helps enterprise clients in training, evaluating, and deploying AI models. It offers mid-and post-training solutions across major domains, including agentic, coding, functional streams, and robotics.

The startup currently has three products in its portfolio — STARK RL envs, Helix evals, and EnterpriseOS agents.

STARK RL envs: It offers a training environment for AI agents. The product mirrors enterprise workflow and failure scenarios to offer a reinforcement learning (RL) environment where AI agents can work, make mistakes, and learn from the outcome before being exposed to high risk real business activities.

Helix evals: It is a data generating tool designed to build, manage, and scale high-quality data for training AI models.

EnterpriseOS Agents: It allows enterprise clients to build, deploy, and manage their respective AI models integrated into live operational workflows.

Deccan AI counts the likes of Google and Snowflake among its notable clients.

With rising adoption of AI and evolution of AI models, tech companies are working on improving the accuracy of AI models. To capitalise on this opportunity, several startups are working to solve AI testing and accuracy obstacles for enterprises. These startups are also seeing a lot of interest from investors.

For instance, enterprise tech startup MOZARK, which provides AI-led tools to businesses to check the health of their digital products, recently raised $40 Mn to strengthen real-world testing and measurement across its native digital AI stack.

Similarly, last year, testing automation startup Drizz secured $2.7 Mn in a seed funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners to advance its Vision AI engine.
