With AI-led healthcare offerings gaining steam in India, many startups are finding niche verticals to solve long standing problems in the country’s care economy. Digitally-enabled mental health offerings have become especially popular as awareness and accessibility increase even as availability of resources remain scarce.
Startups solving this bottleneck include Lissun, which raised ₹48 Cr in its Series A funding round this week to expand the network of its child development and therapy brand, Sunshine by LISSUN, across key cities. The startup also operates a digital platform that connects individuals with psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors and other specialists through online and offline services.
Earlier this year, Mave Health also raised ₹18 Cr in a seed funding round led by Blume Ventures, with participation from All In Capital, Inuka Capital and Stanford Angels, among others.
