Aye Finance Q1 Profit Jumps 144% YoY To ₹74.5 Cr

Listed NBFC Aye Finance reported a 143.5% jump in its net profit to ₹74.5 Cr in the quarter ended June 2026 from ₹30.6 Cr a year earlier. On a sequential basis, profit declined 13.3% from ₹85.9 Cr.
Revenue from operations rose 17.7% to ₹477.4 Cr from ₹405.5 Cr in the year-ago quarter. However, it fell 7.3% from ₹515.1 Cr reported in Q4 FY26.
Interest income, the company’s biggest revenue contributor, increased to ₹452.7 Cr during the quarter from ₹359.3 Cr a year earlier.
Total expenses increased 5% to ₹392.5 Cr in Q1 FY27 from ₹373.7 Cr a year ago. On a QoQ basis, expenses declined 6.8% from ₹421 Cr.
The company’s assets under management (AUM) grew 28% YoY to ₹7,324 Cr, while disbursements increased 22% to ₹1,219 Cr. During the quarter, Aye Finance added 44,736 new borrowers, up 38% from a year earlier.
As of June 30, 2026, the company reported a net worth of ₹2,528 Cr and a capital adequacy ratio of 42.38%.
The quality of Aye Finance’s loan book improved during the quarter. Its gross non-performing assets (GNPA) declined 28 basis points sequentially to 4.49%, while net non-performing assets (NNPA) saw a 12 basis points decrease to 1.67%.
Along with Q1 results, Aye Finance’s board approved a proposal to raise up to ₹4,000 Cr via issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis. The funding will be carried out in one or more tranches over the next year, subject to shareholders’ approval at the company’s upcoming annual general meeting (AGM). This is after the company raised $15 Mn in debt last month.
The company’s credit cost declined to 4.01% in Q1 FY27 from 4.30% in Q4 FY26, marking the sixth consecutive quarter of improvement.
