Ather Trims Q1 Loss 71% YoY To ₹51 Cr, Revenue Jumps 89%

EV major Ather Energy narrowed its net loss in the June quarter (Q1 FY27) by 71% to ₹51.1 Cr from ₹178.2 Cr a year ago. Sequentially, loss shrank 49% from ₹100.2 Cr.

Operating revenue surged 89% YoY and 4% QoQ to ₹1,216.9 Cr. Including other income of ₹42.7 Cr, total income for the quarter came in at ₹1,259.7 Cr.

Meanwhile, total expenses for the quarter stood at ₹1,310.7 Cr, growing 54% YoY. 

The company turned EBITDA profitable during the quarter under review, posting an EBITDA of ₹9 Cr against an EBITDA loss of ₹106 Cr in the year-ago quarter. EBITDA margin stood at 1% against -16% in Q1 FY26. 

Meanwhile, Ather delivered 83,173 units in the three months ended June 30, marking a 81% growth from the year-ago quarter.

It noted that customer demand across the portfolio continued to outpace available production during the quarter.
