Apple reported an all-time revenue record in India in Q4 FY26, with its iPhone business setting a September quarter revenue record and Mac and services revenue reaching new highs.

The company also recorded a September quarter high for iPhone upgraders in India, CEO John Ternus said during its earnings call.

Globally, Apple’s revenue rose 12% YoY to $114.5 Bn in the quarter ended September 26, while consolidated net profit increased 11.8% to $30.7 Bn.

“We also set September quarter revenue records in both developed and emerging markets, in addition to an all-time record in India,” Ternus said.

Apple’s global iPhone revenue rose 17% YoY to $57.6 Bn. Alongside India, the company recorded September quarter highs for iPhone upgraders globally, in the US, and in mainland China.

Citing a recent Worldpanel survey, CFO Kevan Parekh said iPhone was among the top-selling smartphone models in India, the US, urban China, the UK, Germany, Australia, and Japan.

Mac revenue increased 24% YoY to $10.8 Bn globally. The business recorded double-digit growth across developed and emerging markets, with all-time revenue highs in India and Southeast Asia.

“We saw double-digit growth in both developed and emerging markets, with all-time records in markets like India and Southeast Asia,” Parekh said.

Apple also recorded a September quarter high for customers buying a Mac for the first time.

Its services business posted record global revenue of $31.6 Bn, up 10% YoY, with all-time highs across most markets it tracks, including India and Latin America.

Apple Pay’s India Entry

Apple expanded its services offering in India with the launch of Apple Pay on September 30, with Axis Bank as its first banking partner.

The service supports Axis Bank-issued Visa and Mastercard credit cards, allowing users to pay through their iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch in apps, online, and at contactless-enabled stores. Mac support is expected to follow, while RuPay cards are not supported at launch.

For in-store payments, users authenticate transactions with Face ID, Touch ID, or their device passcode before holding their iPhone or Apple Watch near a contactless reader.

Apple said actual card numbers are neither stored on devices or its servers nor shared with merchants. It also said it does not retain transaction information that can be linked to users.

The company has partnered with payment infrastructure providers, including Juspay, Cashfree, and PayU, to offer Apple Pay across their merchant networks. Apple said the service is accepted by millions of merchants in India at launch, including Blinkit, Zomato, Croma, ixigo, Tata 1mg, and Chaayos, with more merchants and apps to follow.

“India is home to a dynamic and digitally savvy population that continues to embrace a cashless future while expecting the highest standards of security and privacy, and we’re so excited to bring Apple Pay to users in India today,” Jennifer Bailey, vice president of Apple Pay and Apple Wallet, said at the launch.

Apple Pay is available in more than 90 countries and regions and works with over 11,000 bank and network partners globally.

Overall, Apple’s products business generated quarterly revenue of $82.9 Bn, up 12% YoY. However, iPad revenue declined 10% to $6.2 Bn, while wearables, home, and accessories revenue fell 8% to $8.3 Bn.

For FY26, revenue increased 15% to $478.8 Bn. Apple expects December quarter revenue to grow 7-10% YoY, taking quarterly revenue to a new high.
