AI Agent Platform Runable Raises $21 Mn To Help Small Businesses Grow

AI agent platform Runable has raised $21 Mn (around ₹200 Cr) in a Series A funding round co-led by Susquehanna Venture Capital and Nexus Venture Partners. Existing investors Together Fund and Array VC also participated in the round.
Runable plans to use the fresh capital to add more channels to its customer acquisition and marketing tools, deepen campaign measurement, and enable its AI agent to identify and fix campaign-related issues autonomously.
The startup will also scale Runable Academy, a free module that teaches business owners how to build and grow their ventures. It also plans to hire across engineering, machine learning, product, growth and customer support.
The funding comes after a launch that took Runable from zero to $2 Mn in ARR within three weeks, the startup claimed. It currently claims to have 1.5 Mn users, supported by a team of 15.
Founded in 2025 by Umesh Kumar and Saksham Sarda, Runable operates an AI agent that helps small businesses build, manage and grow their operations. Kumar previously cofounded edtech startup SkoolStream, which was acquired by Bodhi AI in March 2022.
Runable’s AI agent can create websites, mobile and internal applications, pitch decks, market analyses, prospect lists and marketing videos. It can also set up databases, authentication systems, payment infrastructure, and deployment.
Runable also offers competitor and brand-sentiment tracking, customer support, search engine optimisation, and answer engine optimisation tools.
“Building software stopped being the hard part,” said Kumar, cofounder and CEO of Runable. “Nobody starts a business because they want a landing page. They start it because they want customers and revenue. Software creation got automated. Everything after it didn’t. That’s what Runable is for.”
The startup said most of its 1.5 Mn users are small-business owners operating teams of around two people. These include agencies, consultancies and cleaning businesses across the US, the UK, Japan and Brazil.
Runable’s fundraise comes amid growing investor interest in startups using AI agents to automate business operations and software development.
Earlier this year, Emergent, whose AI agents help entrepreneurs and small businesses create software and websites without extensive technical expertise, became India’s third homegrown AI unicorn and the sixth unicorn of 2026 after raising $130 Mn in a Series C round.
AI startup Sarvam also joined the unicorn club this year after raising $234 Mn as part of a $300 Mn Series B round.
According to the Google x Inc42 Bharat AI Startups Report 2026, India’s AI market is projected to grow 5.3X from 2025 levels to $126 Bn by 2030. The technology is also expected to contribute $1.7 Tn to the country’s GDP by 2035.
